Egner’s Tax Service originated in 1958, when Joan Egner Bradford began preparing tax returns above the grocery store she and her husband, Ray Egner, owned.

Ray and Joan’s daughter, Susan Floyd, took over the practice in 1993, and began mentoring Samantha Floyd in 2004. Susan was an Enrolled Agent, NTPI Fellow, and an instructor for the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Samantha Floyd is an Enrolled Agent, with over 20 years of tax preparation experience. She is a board member of the KY chapter of NATP and a member of National Association of Enrolled Agents. Samantha is currently taking courses to earn her NTPI Fellow designation, which focuses on taxpayer representation. Samantha has owned Egner’s Tax Service, LLC since 2016, when Susan unexpectedly passed away.

Teaven Meredith joined Egner’s Tax Service, LLC in 2023. He is ambitious and and intentional in his quality of work, and looks forward to pursuing Enrolled Agent status. Teaven has taken 2023 tax season update courses, and is ready to help clients get the most out of their return ethically.
